The Sacramento Asian Pacific Chamber of Commerce held its 15th annual Installation & Awards Dinner at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento. U.S. Rep. Doris Matsui was this year’s special honoree; chef Martin Yan was the featured guest.

Hanson McClain and the Harbison Family Foundation presented the 20th annual Winter Wine & Food Fest at the Sacramento Convention Center. Proceeds benefited the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Sacramento and Northeastern California.

Jewish Family Service of Sacramento held its 19th annual gala and auction, Give Your Haeart to JFS, at the DoubleTree Hotel Sacramento. The organization is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families throughout the region.
BLUES FOR BABY AND ME, BLUES FOR BABY AND ME
Mercy Perinatal Recovery Network hosted Blues for Baby and Me, a dinner-show fundraiser, at the Sheraton Grand Sacramento. The organization provides outpatient drug and alcohol recovery services to women who are pregnant or have young children.
DOWN BY THE SEA, DOWN BY THE SEA
Crab lovers feasted at the Sacramento Children’s Home’s crab feed and auction, Down by the Sea, at the Folsom Community Center. Originally an orphanage, the home now serves as a safe haven for abused and neglected children.
GOLFERS’ GALA, GOLFERS’ GALA
Golfers and other guests put their best foot forward at Harvego Family Foundation’s ninth annual Golf Shoe Gala at the Radisson Hotel Sacramento. Proceeds benefited First Tee of Greater Sacramento’s youth golf programs.
KIWANIS FOR KIDS, KIWANIS FOR KIDS
The 16th annual Red & White Ball at the DoubleTree Hotel Sacramento benefited the Kiwanis Family House, which provides temporary housing and support to families of seriously ill or injured children being treated at UC Davis Medical Center.
NOW HEAR THIS, NOW HEAR THIS
Attendees enjoyed Children’s Choice for Hearing and Talking’s I Can Hear You Now fundraiser at Natural Stone Design Gallery in Sacramento. The organization teaches children who are deaf or hard of hearing to listen and talk through teaching, training and parental participation.
