Sushi restaurant closes its doors
Tani sushi in Lincoln closed its doors back in November and they are officially sending out notices to alert people they will be available for private catering parties for the holidays and future.

Here’s the email:

"Hi friends,

Tani Sushi has closed for business on November 12, 2007. We are really going to miss you all.  We are so fortunate to have such great customers.  Thank you all and wishing you Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year.

Cookie decorating for the kids
A chef from Pullman Kitchen—in Granite Bay’s Quarry Ponds shopping center, will host a kid’s Christmas cookie decorating class on Saturday Dec. 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sign-ups are still being accepted, call (916) 772-5050.

New restaurant for Folsom
Folsom Bistro, 6608 Folsom-Auburn Road, opened its doors three-weeks ago in the Folsom Pavilions Shopping Center. It is open for lunch 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday to Saturday, for dinner 4:30-9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 4:30-10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays; (916) 990-0630.

Take a music break at the Capitol this holiday season
From now through Dec. 23 enjoy the holiday spirit at the State Capitol, 10th and L Streets, during your lunch hour. Live holiday music can be heard on the first floor Monday to Friday from noon to 1 p.m.
