The man many believe to be the greatest golfer of all time came to Truckee several times the last few years to design the new Jack Nicklaus Signature course at Old Greenwood in Truckee. He and son Jack Jr. oversaw the project and played the inaugural round before a crowd of several hundred people when it opened.
