“Assorted Spaces” at Verge Center for the Arts
Verge Center for the Arts is throwing a party this Saturday, Jan. 21, and you’re invited. The all-ages event, “Verge Ahead: Verge Center for the Arts Success Party,” will feature an art installation of “Assorted Spaces” by Future Art Notables, a mini-golf exhibit, live music, refreshments and more. Ruhstaller, a local beer maker, will be serving some adult libations. A nonprofit organization, VCA has been working to create the city’s first multidisciplinary art center and, since moving to its current location at 625 S St. (7th and S) almost two years ago, has built 26 artists studios, as well as created a temporary gallery and learning space. Admission to the party is $15, but that includes two refreshments. The party runs from 6 p.m. to midnight.
